Trek to Surkanda devi temple is a must visit, One can enjoy a 360 degree view of the entire doon valley, you can drive / trek to Surkhanda Devi temple / Kaddukhal ,Located  8 kms on the road towards Mussoorie. Trek further 2 kilo meters on foot to reach the Surkanda Devi temple at a altitude of approx 10000 feet. Horses / Ponies are available . Surkanda temple is dedicated to Lord Shankar’s consort Devi Sati. Accoridng to a legend Lord Shankar brought Sati’s dead body here on his trishul from Haridwar.
